Post by: ggriffin0 on June 20, 2018, 12:33:55 AM
We have long been planning a regular event for our members living in gmt (+10). We are pleased to be able to offer a regular Tournament scheduled Mondays at 8pm Sydney time. I will offer some hand analysis afterwards dependent on whether we get some interesting boards.

So if you are Downunder, close to gmt -10, or just hanging out please consider joining our Tournament titled “Dear Compatriot Downunder.”

*Since time is relative:
8pm Sydney
6am EST
11am UK

Ty

We just had our first tournament for our members on the opposite side of the world whose times do not often coincide with our regularly scheduled events. We would like to continue building our player base for this tournament scheduled for 8pm Sydney time (GMT +10). With our first tournament just completed and a very good success, it makes sense that we not only offer an event BUT we build some teaching into it as well.

From now on, there will be a teaching session pulling 2 to 3 of the most interesting boards of each tournament meeting afterwards in IAC. Rather than a straight forward lecture, let's have some fun, I will endeavor to invite some guest speakers to join with me. It may be difficult since it will be 6am, but I will see who we can bring to the table to join us in our Monday conversations.
